My new tractor was delivered today. I ordered a Land Pride QH 15. When it was delivered, it had a Bobcat quick hitch on it. I’m trying to find info comparing the Bobcat and Land Pride, but no luck. Anyone have any thoughts on whether I should insist on getting the Land Pride? Is it better quality than Bobcat?

I don’t think that’s an acceptable switch I’d want. Generally speaking, Land Pride/Kubota has a better reputation for quality than Bobcat. However, it’s probably made by Land Pride. Is it Kubota Orange or some other color.

Also, I’d suggest a QH10 and skip the adjustable top link unless you know you need it. Another bonus is that you won’t need bushings for your attachments.

Fwiw, I have the QH15, but I’ve never needed the adjustment. However, I did have to replace the pins with grade 8 bolts.

Thanks for the feedback. The Bobcat QH is black., not Kubota orange. Don't want to be a nuisance customer, but this is just one of a number of issues with the tractor. All relatively minor (couple missing bolts, pins) things that can be addressed, but overall, disappointing that I have a list of problems with a brand new tractor. Again, thanks.

Sorry to hear about the list of disappointments....I would not be satisfied with that level of service. I totally understand you not wanting to be a 'nuisance customer' but your not getting what you ordered.

Did you ask why the switch on the QH? Did you check the price of the Bobcat QH, compared to the LP? Personally, I would NOT remain silent and contact dealer with the entire list of delivery issues you encountered.

Get what you ordered and you'l be very happy with your Kubota purchase. I urge you to present ALL issues to the dealer until you have acquired the tractor that scratches that itch. (y)

I have the QH15, at 36 hours I'm on 3rd round of top hook pins. luckily I heard the the hook fall onto the mower deck. planning on getting grade 8 bolts as well.

I have a harbor freight QH on my BX2380, the top hook was a little narrow so I ordered a replacement one from amazon which was wider. I use the QH for 2 attachments (1) titan attachments ballast box, with weights inside it's around 350lbs and (2) 3 point hitch receiver. The hitch receiver was my first after market attachment I bought (bought BX with loader and belly mower) and top attachment pin didn't stick out enough for the top hook on the QH so that's why I ordered new one. Also, the hitch was too narrow for QH using normal bottom pins (couldn't find any long ones that screwed in -mine was metric and long pins standard) so I ordered some extra long bolts (22mm If I recall- there's a thread on here about that) from online. Other than an issue with my "cheap" attachment, the "cheap" harbor freight QH has been awesome.

Check your front axle oil level, it is quite common for it to be a bit low. If the plugs are still covered in paint then the dealer never checked it.

Excellent point, my BX was low as well.
