If you add the quick hitch you may need a longer pto shaft. It just depends how much over lap there is on the pto shaft.

Only problem I have had is using a brush hog and mowing extremely rough terrain. The pto has rubbed on the bottom of the quick hitch a couple of times and scored the plastic pto cover shaft.
If using just the standard 3 point there is nothing to rub on. Have to say that the quick hitch is staying on though. It’s just to darn handy to give up.

I needed a new PTO shaft. The original was cut shorter than it should have been even without the quick hitch. I just didn't know it, I bought it that way.
