I have a Land Pride QH15. For optimum use, you have to add bushings to the lower link pins of the implements. My implements needed all different sizes/types of bushings. Since my rear blade, grader/scraper, and rotary cutter are all Land Pride QH compatible those work pretty nice after adding the lower bushings, but the bushings were all different lengths.

My cheap ballast box is going to need some welding to raise the top pin and also needed bushings and will need a top bushing as well once I finish the modification. I haven’t worried about it because since all of my attachments came in, I’ve been using one of them for ballast since all buy my blade weighs significantly more.

I got the adjustable upper link on the QH15 because some here have said for some equipment it will work, but for QH compatible implements, I think the QH10 would have been fine as well.

I have the QH10 (non-adjustable top hook), but it has the advantage that it does not require any bushings for Cat 1 implements. All of my implements were purchased with my tractor in Feb. 2021. Everything works great (all LP were labeled as QH compatible and the Dirt Dog Box blade mates perfectly) with the exception of the LP 500 Spreader. The LP 500 Spreader was not labeled QH compatible by LP, and it requires a standard 3 PT hook up. The good news is that I will only be using it twice a year. When I used it in March this year, I removed the QH (simple to do), and it was easy to mount. One odd but not problematic item is that the LP Finish mower does not get captured by the hook; instead, you use the QH included link on the top. It works well, and it allows the mower a great amount of travel.

I have had the LP QH15 for about 4 years and love it.

Not all my implements are QH compatible but even though they are not it is still real simple hook up. No more kicking the lift arm to get it to slide over the lift pins.

I made bushings from a piece of galvanized pipe I had. The id was perfect so I cut to length and placed on lift pins. Added big washer and lynch pin and done. Couple hours cutting to length and zero cost. Have spares in tool box on tractor.

My QH works for everything except my brush hog.

I bent mine when my tater plow caught a root. It ripped the top link pins out of the QH. I was lost for the few weeks without it while friend was welding it back together.

I must admit I change implements a lot. I can have the land plane on in the morning, disk on by noon, garden bedder on after lunch and disk back on cleaning up end rows in my garden that afternoon.

I love my tooth bar makes digging a breeze but the QH has to be my most useful time saving attachment.

Best of luck.

In my opinion a quick hitch is the only way to go. Makes hooking and unhooking so quick. The only issue I had is not all of my implements were quick hitch compatible. But I made them compatible. Definitely get a quick hitch you won't regret it.

Don't know how old you are, but one day you will be so glad when all you have to do is back up to any implements you own, get off the tractor ,lock the implement in and get back on and drive off to do whatever implement you hooked up to. No more fighting, straining, cursing , knuckle busting, a## whipping, back hurting bs to have to do before you can enjoy tractor time. Buy a QH and don't look back, adapt or buy new so you can enjoy your equipment. Good luck to all on your projects.

Heck I don't even need to get off to lock and unlock my hitch.

Yep, I'm also a fan of the QH. I have the land pride 10 and have 0 problems with hook and go, and unhook and go....worth every penny. One can save money with aftermarket...but, it won't be easy peasy like I've enjoyed.

My QH sits in the corner of the shop unused… because it will not fit (interchange) with the implements I most commonly use….

95% of the time I use my finish mower. …so it stays on virtually ALL the time.

2% of the time I use a box blade which has a top-link that cannot mate to the QH due to surrounding structure…. so the QH would have to come OFF to use the box blade. The QH itself weights 100 lbs and is a pain in the Azz to install/remove…. so I leave it in the corner of the shop.

Another 1% of the time I’m using my rotary cutter/shredder and it is not worth the time/trouble to put the QH back onto the 3-pt.

The last 2% of the time I’m using a Post Hole Digger (PHD) and NO QH made in the world can be used with a PHD.

NONE of the implements with a PTO-shaft will let me mount/dis-mount the implement without me getting On/Off the tractor anyway.

Anyone wanting a QH in central Tx can have one cheap if they’ll pick it up at my place.

The ”Pats Quick Hitch” system MAY be in my future, however…. I just wish Pat made one with extendable links and it’d already be on my tractor!
