Just trying to answer a question while i am away from the tractor. The nuts that are over the springs if i tighten those down i assume i am increasing the required pressure to engage\disengage them ?
I think you have it backwards. See what others say. I just tightened mine down this last weekend to make it easier to latch. Be careful as it also makes it easier to unlatch........
