Questions on a L2002

I just bought a L2002.It is going to need piston rings because it is very hard to start and blowing oil out the exhaust and blowby tube.I understand my little Gray L2002 is a lot like a L275.Tractordata shows the L275 has a live PTO and my L2002 does not.Is this correct?What type of fluid goes in the rear L&R gear housings at the axles?

The rear housing is connected to the transmission and the transmission is also the hydraulic reservoir, So hydraulic fluid.

Filter is not reusable. I would spend a little extra money and get the filter from the Kubota dealer.

If it's the mesh screen type that fits in the transmission or rear end then yes it's reusable, just clean and reinsert.

If it's the spin on canister type (looks like car oil filter), no they are disposable, just replace it, if you have a part# then you can get one either at the dealership or my favorite Golden Eagle Direct:
