>>>SOLVED<<< Question on running a Wallenstein chipper.

>>>SOLVED<<<
Solved in post #5.

I'm buying a Wallenstein BX52R and I have a question about the hydraulics.

My tractor is an L4310. It has an auxiliary hydraulic valve mounted to the rear fender.
The auxiliary hydraulic is plumbed into the loader circuit.

My question is, will I be able to use the existing plumbing and simply bypass the valve to supply enough flow to run my chipper?

If I need to provide more info. or pictures please let me know.

Thanks.

I thought they had a hydro pump mounted on the chipper so you didnt need the tractor hydro.. maybe I got it all bass ackwards:confused:

I figured out the chipper hydraulics.
I can just use my auxiliary valve on it as is.
My valve doesn't have a detent so for now I'll have to hold it open with a bungee cord. Eventually I'll buy a valve with a detent in it.

The hydraulic flow has plenty of volume to run the chipper.

Thanks for your time.

My Wally chipper is shipping Monday, and it has the built in pump. I am also getting shipped at the same time, a one of their side shift flail mowers, and it I will run from my extra port/control I put in for my snow blade angling.

My bad, I bought a WOODMAX chipper, not a Wallenstein.....I mis remembered. Today I got the email saying it was shipped today! Nonetheless, it does indeed have the built in hydro pump, powered by the PTO, seems siple enough.
