Hi all, I'm new to the forum and also a proud owner of a L3800DT. Enjoy very much reading and gaining useful info in this forum.
I recently visited my uncle up in Ky. and was looking at his Kubota (M series). I noticed he had a hand crank leveler on the right side lift arm. Where he could adjust from the seat. Does anyone know if these are available for a L-series like mine? The only thing close to it I could find was for either a Ford or MF.

Thanks,
RC

TX woodtick:

Great idea for the 3800. We own an L3700SU (same tractor as yours). Noting your question, it reminded me of my first tractor, a Ford 2N which had the handle operated raise/lower turnbuckle availablefrom the operator seat. I loved that feature. At the website listed above, they don't list the L3800 but if they did, I'd be interested in their price and availability.

However, I did find that the little tiny nubs on the turnbuckle were near impossible to turn, so I fashioned a tool for it using an inverted clamp for cyclone fence posts and attached to a bolt covered with plastic. It goes round and round much easier that way than trying to use the hole in the back end of a wrench. However, you still have to get off the tractor to adjust it up or down.

As an aside, check out the quick clamps that Hodge makes. It's much easier to hook up any 3 point tool with that and they keep the chain sway out of it.

Perhaps your need can be turned in as a suggestion to the "What do you wish your Kubota had?"

Thanks for the help guys.

Eric, thats what I'm looking for. What site did you find that?

Thanks,
RC
I just Googled 3 point hitch parts and found that image on E-bay. They do make them for other tractors of all makes and models and not just old Fords. I do recall there being a thread on here in the past about those turn buckles. I recall seeing a smaller one I could put on my B series for about 60 bucks.

Perhaps a search of the threads on here and you'll find the info. I can't remember who first posted it nor where to get them.

The style he showed was for a side link. If that's the turnbuckle your speaking of, then "Yes"
