Took a 2 hour lunch break and got to work:
Hooked up the post hole digger
Spread the spring compost layer around all the (~15) orchard trees
Dug up and relocated a young apple tree
Planted a new addition to the orchard.
Both if the new holes were prepared by sinking the PHD in 4 spots around the location to break up the hardpan that’s under the topsoil.
Having grown up driving full sized tractors for our family livelihood, I have to scale back my expectations of the little BX, but, it did all that wonderfully. Certainly wouldn’t have gotten it finished with a shovel and garden cart
