On occasion on the property, use my S75 to pull a 14' dump trailer, utilizing a 2.5" ball in one of my buckets. What's the pulling or pushing capacity?

If you are asking about a SSV or SVL 75 skidsteer or track loader I haven't found a specification for pull or push capacity. I have used a SSV75 to move unloaded 30' flatbed trailers and 32' unloaded horse trailers on flat ground without issue but the wheels broke traction going up a short section of 12% grade gravel drive way with the horse trailer. Remembering they do not have "brakes" I would be cautious about hill use.

Thanks for your reply. Need to move a gross weight of approx. 15,000 pounds, which is a 4800 pound trailer with a 10,000 pound cement tank. Mostly flat move of 600 ft. but a few short grades of approx 8%.

Any idea what your tongue load will be? SSV75 Operation rating is 2690 lbs lift at the bucket, tip over is twice that, 5380lbs. The closer the ball is to the front edge of your bucket the more your lift capacity will be decreased. Easy for me to say but it would be much safer to move your trailer with an appropriate truck. How will you unload the tank at the destination? Stay safe.

Thank you again for your reply! Plus, giving me the thought about the distance of ball and it's relationship to capacity. This is a factor. Likely will look for alternative to skidsteer. Didn't consider my Tundra as it's limitation is not much more than 10,000. Will find another solution, but again thankyou.

If your Tundra is rated at 10K that’s 10K on a road at road speeds. As in my Tundra pulling my 9500lb 30’ camper from the middle of NC to Pigeon Forge in the Tennessee mountains (and there are some 8% grades in that route, too). It can pull a good bit more 600’ slowly. The limiting factors on the Tundra would be tongue weight (easy to check, just hook it up and if it sets the axle on the bump stops it won’t work) and ability to stop (if the trailer doesn’t have brakes, but the brakes on just the Tundra are a lot more than what you have on the skid steer).

If I had to move a 15K trailer 600’ and had to choose between a skid steer that has no real brakes and my 10k rated Tundra, that would be the Tundra.

Whatever you do, good luck with it and stay safe.
