Well folks I pulled the trigger on a L3901DT. I liked it better than the HST. Wife and I both grew up on farms. Of course got an FEL, bush hog & BB. Now I just need to decide on delivery. The wife already told me she can't wait to get it :D I am thinking I may need to hide the keys

Congratulations on your purchase, nice that your Wife is so supportive, and you must be smarter than me - I can't even figure out how to "start a thread"!!
How many dealers did you comparatively shop? How much off list price did you negotiate? How close is where you purchased to where you will use the tractor? I am shopping now and new to tractors

CONGRATS!!!

And good on your wife for being excited.

My wife is allergic to clutches and would not drive my manual Ford back in the day. I promised she would like the HST and she has taken to the L3800 I bought like a duck to water. I have been able to do some neat work with her doing the heavy lifting while I sling the load and spot it. We moved tons of boulders re-doing my back yard and she moved over half of them. Having a partner who will help sometimes makes a world of difference.

Congratulations, and welcome to OTT.

There are some smart guys and gals here that can help you along they way. This is a great group.

Before Skeets gets to it - I'm going to say you better post some pictures when it's delivered, or it didn't really happen.:p:p

We all love tractor porn!!:D

P.S. - If you hang around, you will find Skeets is one of the funniest guys - a real pizzer and a good guy!:D:D

Thanks to all. I am excited to get it and get some work done around here. Won't be delivered until Tuesday but that's my doing because I am tied up this weekend. I will most definitely get that tractor porn posted ASAP.

Hey! Congrats! You'll have a blast but be safe. I'm taking delivery on a new B2650-ROPS late next week all sorts of excited of course. Looking forward to a place for sharing experience n ideas. My wife's a keeper but her eyes glaze over pretty fast when I go on about orange vs green vs blah blah blah. Kinda like me when she's deciding what variety of tomato is going in the garden.

Welcome to both of you, don't work yourself too hard with the new tool. Nice that it will do the heavy lifting.
