I have a ZD326 and the pto valve got turned upside down when I pulled the pto lever out to buff the corrosion and wd40. Now, When I engage the mower nothing happens. Is there a way to turn the pto valve back to the proper position without dealership intervention? And hopefully without taking it all apart?

I don't quite get the question, it seems that you turned the valve, so you should turn it back?

Yes. That's the goal. Is it easy? I hope this can to be done through the hole where the shaft goes with some kind of homemade tool and then the shaft is reinserted. Or do i have to disassemble the front part? I am new to hydraulics. I don't want to open up the front and have loose bearings and springs go everywhere. I just have no idea what's in there and the manual doesnt really help me understand.

Can you post a picture, I dont think I understand what your trying to do. If you turned it one way, and I dont know how you did it, you should be able to turn it back

The wd40/pb blaster in the bottom right is where i thought i could stick some tool in there and turn the valve. OR... is there other way. I am oblivious.

There is a filter that spins on the front, a hard line coming out the top and same side as the lubrication point in the bottom right.

If the valve shaft just spun around on it's own and will not go back in position, then no amount of PB blaster will help you.
And taping on the valve shaft could get you in some serious trouble in a quick hurry.
STOP!
Get the WSM, as it will tell you how to repair the issue. ;)

No. The lever was corroded from being dissimilar metals is what read. Most people dont have this problem if they engage the pto on a regular basis. I had not so some freezing up took place. So, i took it in to the dealership and they "upgraded" my lever. Pricey.
Well, it stuck again and so took out the lever to buff and lube (with the help of this site and merricks sending me the manual). When that happened the valve turned i guess and wont engage in the off or on position.
So now i'm trying to figure out how to make it right without pulling off the whole piece in the pic or taking it back in.

The PTO control shaft is nothing but a solid shaft with a hole drilled thru it. Turn the shaft to line up the hole to a drilling in the housing and oil passes thru the shaft to the PTO clutch, turn until hole is blocked, no oil to PTO clutch. The shaft can not be installed incorrectly, just turn it so the arm on the Right hand side is facing toward the front of mower and connect handle linkage.
