PTO shaft for RCF2060

Hi everyone, newbie here.

Does anyone happen to know a good place to get a new PTO shaft for my RCF2060 rotary cutter? (shear bolt).

Dealer wants around $400 and they have to order it. Google tells me there's lots of junk out there.

I learned the hard way on this one. I now know what happens when you forget to disconnect and drive off with 1/2 shaft in tow not realizing it. Thankfully I was in soft dirt and all I did was pop a U-joint (cross-over).

can you not just buy the 1/2 shaft you ,um, modified ?

I was planning on just buying a whole new shaft. I was just hoping I could get one without paying the dealer upcharge?

I'm not really sure If I can just order the 1/2 of the shaft but this way, I have a few spare parts... maybe.

All you need to know is the length and what each end needs to be and you can buy one online for cheaper.

I was able to buy just the 1/2 I needed. This brought the price down to a more reasonable quote.

My dealer is just down the street from me. I went for convenience.
