I have a BX2670 and can't find a reference anywhere in the operator's manual for what engine RPM it takes to get 540 RPM at the rear PTO.
Lotsa guesses and opinions ranging from 2500 to 3200 on this and other forums but nothing official from Kubota. Even my dealer doesn't know for sure.

Can anybody give me an answer from an official Kubota source?

Thanks in advance.

that number is right at 3000 rpms - actually it is a smidge higher (3043-3068)- but that is very close to "find" on the tach!;)

My BX2660 has speeds for mid and rear PTO and they are so close I just run both at 3000. It is in a table in the manual.

How old is that machine? I have a B2320 and the tach is marked where the pto speed is optimal. I would have thought all machines were labeled that way.

At least you guys HAVE a tach! Some rocket scientist at Kubota decided that the early BX models didn't need one......
