PTO problems on a BX2200

Hi, I'm new to this so please bear with me. I have searched the forums and only seen one post about this with no replys. Since it was a older post I'm hoping some info has surfaced. I have a BX2200 that the mid/belly PTO wil not engage. When the PTO selector is selected for the rear PTO the rear works fine. When the PTO selector is selected for the mid/belly and rear, the rear will come on but the mid/belly will not. Any advice would be appreciated thanks again in advance also I don't know if this is relevant but last year there was a delay in the mid/belly PTO engaging.

Can you feel a "click" as in a detent when you shift between mid and rear pto? If you pull the left side rear tire off, check to make sure that the pin isnt sheared on the lever. If that appears ok, there's a plug behind the shifter before it goes into the trans, that has a spring and small ball in there. If the ball is missing, there's a good chance that shift arm with the detent is bent and the trans will have to come out.
