PTO HP - Finish Mower

If I have it right, my L3130 has 25 hp at the PTO drive.

A nice 72” finish mower is for sale at a decent price locally but the sales brochure I looked up suggest 35 PTO hp.

I’d like to think my tractor can handle a 6’ mower. Am just missing something here?

No, you'll be just fine. I used to run a 7 footer with ease using an antique John Deere 40. 23 PTO hp.

I run a Landpride 72" finish rear finish mower on my B2650 with 19.5 pto hp with no problem at all. Handles it just fine.

I have a 84 on my 3130 and get along just fine.
