Anyone with experience with PTO caps? I am likely not needing to use either PTO on my BX23s for a few years, so I'm gonna grease the splines and add PTO caps. These are Kubota caps, about $6 each so I figure they can't hurt to cover them in case I do want to use them in the years ahead?

If your talking about the sleeves that slide over the pto shaft of the tractor they work great. I use one on my tractor and take it off and on several times a week. Keeps the pto shaft free of dirt and grime and make it so much easier to hook up tools.

After I bought one I found a couple of cheaper versions laying in the parking lot of the dealer ship near the repair shop. The mechanics said they threw them in the trash and no problem with me keeping them. Nice to have as a spare.

You can go to your local hardware store and purchase some clear hose to if the PTO. It's not $6 a ft and that would make two!
