Proportional valves for 4-in-1 FEL? Top-N-Tilt?

Is there a [somewhat] economic solution to installing fully proportional control on either a 4-in-1 (1 channel for jaw open-close) &/or TNT (2 channels) perhaps in a manner in which the control could be shared (although not simultaneously)? I'm considering this for a B2650. Thanks for any ideas, and Happy Holidays to All!

You can add a stack valve to the rear of the machine, usually bolted to the ROPS or fender on the right side and plumb it with Power Beyond from the FEL valve. "Somewhat Economical" is very subjective, the only cheap things about hydraulics are o-rings and advice on forums.

Contact Brian at http://www.fitritehydraulics.com/ he may have a setup for you already.

Thanks for the quick response

Fit Rite does offer a nice setup for the TNT and is probably my "go-to". The 2 momentary rocker switches they use to control the box are "on-off", IIRC... I'm interested in proportional flow control where flow rate is proportional to control (lever, joystick, coolie-hat, etc) deflection. Has anyone installed such a system on their TNT or 4-in-1?

I'm not sure what setup you've been looking at, but none that I know of have two rocker switches for control of the TnT cylinders, there is usually a spool valve with levers to do that. A third spool can be added and extended to the front with 1/4" hoses for another function on the loader.

For a 3rd function on the loader, often a solenoid valve is used, that is controlled by a single rocker switch (usually on the joystick) and is indeed non-proportional or ON/OFF as you stated, they are plumbed inline with the PB line just as the rear spool valve would be. Truly proportional electric solenoid valves are very expensive and generally only found on commercial machines using pilot operated controls, it would cost thousands to add to a compact tractor.

Another frequently added device for a 3rd loader function is called a "diverter" valve. These divert the dump/curl circuit to the grapple or 4n1 momentarily by operating a momentary switch on the joystick, and you maintain your proportional control with the left/right movement of the joystick. Brian also sells these divertter's, as do I.
