I have been thinking about something like this only with several X shapes connected with side boards with the 16" spacing. I figured the X would keep it from rolling but then figured there would be a lot more handling. So I am sticking with picking with forks on the back of the 8N and I have a ram that comes down to hold when it gets out of balance. I know a picture would show but not on the tractor right now, maybe next time I use it.
