First, sorry for my poor english because i'm a french living in Quebec, Canada

I buy a B2150hst (1989) last year

The last onwer instal a cabin and light on this cabin. Last week i'm broke the on/off switch. When a try to change de switch when i remove the wire (the one from the batterie), it happen a spark (short circuit). I try to replace de the switch and nothing happen. Now i remark that the dash light is died.

I think that because of the spark what can i do to fit it?

Do you think that i have to change some piece?

Thank for your help.

Again sorry for my english.

Yeah it sounds like a fuse. If it's not get a multi-meter or test light and see if there is power going to the switch and then check the wire to the light. Should be easy to trace your problem.

Since the cab was installed after by the previous owner the fuse could be anywhere. You'll have to trace the wire from the switch to the battery.

Hello,

as far as I can see from the Parts-Book (P.136) of your B2150 the fusebox is under the hood infront of you right knee,if you would sit in the seat. And they mention on page 49 another 15A fuse. It would be easier if there would be some schematics inside.

Hope that helps

This I don't think, because it looks like he used the same fuse for the dash light. So it should be the same fuse...

Check for the fuse where mentioned by cabu.
If that doesn't work check right off the battery for an inline fuse.
Google inline fuse if you aren't sure what you are looking for.
