It starts momentarily but then immediately stops. Have checked fuel, fuel filter, etc. Right in the middle of a major project and rain is coming....need help! Thanks.

Almost sounds like the fuel shutoff solenoid isn't working properly. It has 2 coils. A "pull" coil which pulls the solenoid open, then a "hold" coil, which holds it in the run position. Also, might be worth looking at the wire connector and possibly the fuses.

Did you run out of fuel or did it just start out of the blue?

Did it start just after you filled it up? May have got some bad fuel.

How long has it been since it was serviced? May simply be a plugged fuel filter.

Give us all the info you can and I'm sure somebody will be able to help.

Check the hydro state pedal neutral switch, should be under the floor on the left hand side of tractor. The plastic insert with the wiring plugged to it gets loose in the metal housing resulting in a start and die condition. Put a plastic tie around it to pull sections together and get back to work or playing.

All three, Lugbolt, Bulldog, and Whitetiger have valid possible causes of the issue. ;)
