Problem attaching front of mowing deck to BX2380.

When the BX2380 was delivered years ago the mowing deck was attached and I removed it. The ZTR mower broke and we're waiting for a part so I'm attaching the mowing deck.

I've got it attached but the front bracket with the lever and the pin has an issue. The pin only partially engages. The cross piece won't fully enter the hook on the plate the pin fits into. Should I just adjust the nuts on that side until it fits?

Never mind. Kubota was too generous with their paint. Several solid taps with a rubber mallet put things together properly.

Yeah, the tolerance is really tight. Most of the time I’ve had issues getting the front levered into place has been because I got the front bars offset on the hooks on the deck. Because it will almost get into place when it’s an inch off center, but not quite.
