Price when you were born.

There weren't any gas stations near the hospital. . However, the lowest I remember was $.16.9. We used to drive to a neighboring town to visit my Aunt and filled up on the way. In our town, it was more normally $.19.9. It was common for us to top off our tanks for a couple of bucks.

Inflation adjusted doesn't make a lot of sense to me since gasoline prices don't follow inflation.

I remember driving a TR3 to Boulder, Co. and back home for the weekend. Spend $12 total on gas, course I ate my folk's food!

I graduated from High School in 1964 my pal Dan Greenwood and I put a 1929 Model A Ford Businessman coupe ( cloth roof that didn't go down) together during the winter of '63. We drove it across the states from Pennsylvania to California and back. The most we spent was 25 cents a gallon. We had plans of trading it for a brand new Mustang in California. But just got laughed at by the Ford dealer. A Mexican guy flagged us down and said he would give us $150 for it. Dan probably still has it.

The lowest I personally remember seeing as a boy was .77/gallon. I was 12 years old when I remember noting that. I don't know why that random memory stuck with me. I also remember It was at a fast trac gas station when I lived in North Georgia. That would have been in roughly 1993.

And, I remember 1/2 pint of milk was like 3 cents in elementary school.

I told my wife according to that website gas was .29 cents a gallon when she was born she said so what are you trying to say lol
