Power surge / lack of power

Hi,

While I was mowing with my F2400 it started to loose power. The engine would loose RPM as if i were overloading the mower. it would last for a few seconds and then power back up. When I stopeed mowing I experienced the same issue while only driving the tractor back to the house.

There are no abnormal noises and everything seems ok...

Any Ideas ?

First things to check are fuel and air- is the air cleaner clogged or restricted, and is it getting fuel? When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

I had checked & cleaned the air filter but had over looked the fuel filter. I had ran some injector cleaner a few weeks back... It had cleaned out the tank and filled up the fuel filter. Changed it out and wow ! must have gained 20 horsepower
