Power loss

Bx 25, changed fluid,filter,strainer etc. Back hoe loses power, leaks down, high pitched whing sound. Pump going out?

There are three hoses between the backhoe and the tractor.

The pump sound makes me think one hose is in the wrong place.

The hydraulic flow is first to the backhoe and then, using a power beyond port on the backhoe valve, the flow is to the Loader.

Does your loader work properly?

For now I would not worry about the leak down and focus on getting the machine to operate properly.

You should provide more history on the problem. Did it start with the filter and fluid change or is that why you decided to change the filter and fluid.
