I have a 1500lb trailer with an 18'x6' bed. I once filled the trailer with wet cow manure - about 2' + of it. My L185DT, even with 4WD, dualies, filled tires, and 200 lbs/side wheel weights on the back was traction challenged to get it up one 10% driveway, then down another one. The 185 started out at about 1800 lbs.
I believe the trailer + cargo was an easy 6T, probably more.
The L1802 will do much better than the B for traction, and low gear has the power - I never did stall the L185 in low. But I'd still be looking for a L2xx or L3xx if this is a routine load.
Also, the 15x19.5 industrial tires on the newer tractors are about the same diameter as the 9.5x24 R1 tires on the 1802. You can put about 400 lbs/tire of rimguard in them, and end up with impressive traction. But I'd still be looking for a L2xx or L3xx.
