I need advice on who makes a post hole digger with an under 3 inch top bar. My roll over bar bottom is only slightly over 2.5 inches wide. I have called a variety of manufacturers and nobody had any good ideas.

Are you talking about the top link mounting point?
I have had / and have several post hole diggers and the top link mount is very narrow, like 3/4" wide.

Hi ngp, welcome.
As NIW says, the end of the arm is tapered to fit. Here are a few photos. Does that answer your question? IMG_0316.jpeg IMG_0321.jpeg IMG_0332.jpeg

Thanks for the reply. Let me show you what I’m working with. County line digger from tractor supply is tapered about 7 inches and doesn’t quite make it

Have you asked your local dealer if they have a model that would work?

on my older tractor, when adding the ROPS, the three point mount moved to the rear of the ROPS. It seems odd that the ROPS would be limiting the use of any implement.

Awww aftermarket ROPS is poorly designed and way too far back and causing you issues.

Yea your options are limited.

You could get a used PHD and alter the end to fit.

Maybe its just me but that PHD looks like it is too big for that tractor?
B7100 are mighty little beasts!
They can handle and run equipment that other tractors their size can't touch.

I see that there are some slopes around so you might not want to do this suggestion- Just remove the ROPS when using the PHD?

If you need a ROPS you do a ROPS. The best is to never go or do something that you need a ROPS. But for people who don't know about things like a hole on the downhill side, God created a ROPS and a seat belt. The ONLY time I upset my B7100 was dragging a trail and got over the side and it toppled on its side. I stood it up by hand and drove out. Big units you are not a happy camper.

The 410j? That would take a wrecker that probably wouldn't come here without an active logging campaign.

No. A post digger goes high and wags. It is an invitation for an upset. You must be a flatlander. I miss sunrises and sunsets. Not much else.

It is a bit long. I have no problem digging and can dig at idle.
Lifting power is what limits me, so I lift every foot or so.
