Possible Purchase of an L2002DT

Hi Everyone!

I'm new here, and have been reading up on all this "grey market" tractor stuff. The reason being I have an opportunity to buy a Kubota L2002DT for dirt cheap, and it comes with a roto-tiller. However, I've read that the 02 series is hard to find parts for. It starts and runs, but needs cosmetic work, and misc parts. I've also read that some or these grey market tractors have North American equivalents. Does the L2002DT have any? Maybe the L2200DT? Also, is there a belly mower and FEL available for this model? I would want to get those in the future.

Basically, I'm wondering if it is worth it to buy it, and find parts, or should I pass, and look for another tractor.

Personal experience is that the rarer the tractor the harder to get parts and advice on repairs.
Kubota is real good about high quality parts, but real bad about information, especially about anything grey.
You can guess what model it matches that's not grey but it's still liable to have differences that will foul you up down the line.
As far as getting a Kubota FEL or a MMM for it is going to be a real long shot, and getting aftermarket is going to be tough too!
What looks like a great deal can really bite you down the line.

Yea, that's what I was thinking too. If it was just a gray market model, it would be better, but its also the Daedong/Kubota model. Maybe it's not worth the trouble then...

Anybody know of a Kubota that has the same engine and other parts as the l2002?

Edit: Well I found out the L275 has the same engine, so thats good.

Update:

So, I'm not sure if I said this previously, but it comes with another tractor, and 2 roto-tillers. We went today mainly to see the other tractor. After some research, we're pretty sure its an Iseki TU1700F.

I am running a ZL2202DT-M,I found a parts place in Saskatchewan that has hoses to clutches so far oh and manuals,I'm certain mine is also a L275 equivalent also,Yellow Rose Enterprise,call Sue up and ask about your model,306 232 5570
