Has anyone installed there own kit for loader or BH hydraulics to operate a thumb or grapple etc. using eBay components? Solenoid valves and spdt switch are pretty cheap compared to kits. I have a source for hoses and can fab brackets.

Any first hand experience is appreciated.

Or talk me out of it and recommend a kit.

L39 w/quick attach fr & rear.

Easy...go to the dealers and look at other installations and figure out what you want...I actually got all the info I needed off of this web site...

Figure out your rigs plumbing set up...I actually marked all of mine and flow direction...draw up a scheme and use garden hose to measure the lines you want to plumb...

I get the lines for free. I figure it won't cost over 300. Each end. Sol. Valve 160, switch 17, misc. Fittings 40, wire hose loom, 40. ???
