I usually use my B2910. But the box blade was on it...forget why. Thought the rear blade was on it.
So I took the BX2200 and hooked up the 72" rear blade to it. The BX has AG tires and they are foam filled, which adds lots of stability. Also 1.25" rear wheel spacers (width limited by having a MMM). Lots of slopes here.
The B2910 makes me nervous, since I tipped it on its side once after using it for ten years. That was about 8 years ago.
All I can say is even with out my T&T, which the B2910 has, I was able to do what I needed with the BX (with about 5 inches of snow). AND it was fun! No worries about slipping and getting into a bad situation where the larger tractor might go on its side again. I ran the blade reversed, since I figured with my compound curves in the driveway, which is gravel over dirt, I would have less digging in.
Of course, not as good a job as when I use the larger tractors, with T&T, plus float on one side, and gage wheels, but all in all, a more fun experience. Next snow worth plowing (if under 6"), it will be the BX again! Good enough is good enough...especially when it is more fun!
