I've taken apart everything needed to reach the leaking pivot pin. I've included photos of the pin for viewing. I don't know if I should replace the pin or not. My BX2230 is 21 years old and this is the first time it is now leaking. There is some play in it when I reinsert the pin past the bushings. I have some new bushings and am wondering how I would get the old bushings out. I plan on using a screw driver and whaming away at the side of the bushing until it starts to collapse, then pull out with a needle nose. If anyone has any insight please share it with me. It's not fun having your BX out of commission with parts strewn all around. How's the shape of this Pin?

The O-ring and backup ring is the "seal" so not being tight in the bushings is not going to make it leak.

so you're saying if the pin has some wiggle that's not the problem.
Just replace the o rings and keeper? Seems too easy to me

Yep the bushing to pin fit is not that critical.
