Just placed my order for a Piranha Tooth Bar for my L 3301, hoping to eliminate some Blackberry bushes and other scrub brush on my 10 acres.

Point that puppy down a bit....and dig on or point down at 45 degree and dig em up......either way..... blackberries will become noberries!:D

Probably one of the best investments i've made for my L3901.. You'll be shocked how handy it'll become..

Same here. The only bad thing is I'm running out of things to dig up.

Sparky - they market the PTB as being easily removable. Mine hasn't been off in 5 years.. great buy!

Mine has never come off since I installed it. Used it a few weeks ago when I was cutting firewood to clear the scrub around a big old ash tree. Nothing worse than getting tangled in blackberries, wild roses and field olives. Makes easy work out of scrub, brush and small trees. On my property I have a ton of field olives. Instead of brush hogging them, I just pop them out of the way roots and all. Beats leaving a sharp stump that could puncture a tire

I have mine off right now (snow) and have taken it off a couple of times since I put on. I like it for clearing saplings and brush.

I thought about buying the piranha toothbar but I decided to go with a standard toothbar with replaceable teeth.
You will never wear the teeth out on the Piranha toothbar. It's American made hardened steel.

Well, it's GOOD, but not perfect. I was loading some topsoil today after I finished was headed up the the tractor port (nee carport) when I said to myself "look at those teeth - they're filthy!). So now I have to floss The Kids teeth before bed!

I've been looking at the Piranha - once it's installed, how quick is it to take off and on?

Just asking......
Why would you take it off?
For snow removal? Check....:)
cant really see why to take it off - unless it gets in the way of something else that bolts on that edge - even a hay spear will bolt on with it on(most will)

Moving dirt it works excellent
Moving gravel - just as good if not better than not having.
Back dragging - works just as well if not better.

Once you get it .......you see what all the others are talking about;)

Thanks for all of the reviews. Ordered one today should get it by this time next week. I’ll let you know how it works for me, really looking forward to it. I have 12 acres of fairly dense hardwoods and would like to open it up a little.
