Can you actually dig with this tooth bar? I've seen a video of it clearing brush but no digging. If I put one on my L3800, it will be used for re-digging ditches on the sides of the roads at my camp and clearing trails of brush. Thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my question. I'm definitely going to get one on order as soon as I can get up to my camp and measure my bucket.

Would it be too much to ask for a video? I'm actually looking for them online of digging only... Not the brush

Turk,

you are going to find out that it is an amazing piece of hardware, it really is worth it's weight in gold.....well almost.

go run up on a 1" sapling ....
or through some thorny bushes with the blade flat on the ground......
you'll cut through that like a knife in "budda":D

As far as digging, I turn my blade down a bit in hard soil, then wiggle the bucket a bit to get that "bite" - then flatted the blade out, almost like flipping a pancake.

Ok here is my 2 cents. I have used it for 3 hours so far. It's on my b7100. It does penetrate the ground nicely. The only issues I have is the strength of my tractor to rip it out. I have a learning curve of how deep to push it in. Over all I am happy with the digging part of it. I'll post when I do some clearing with it.

I installed my PTB today. It did what everyone said it would do. It will dig. I filled in a few mud holes at the camp. I didn't get a chance to try to clear any brush with it. I'll give that a shot this weekend.

I purchased my PTB back in the early spring. I can't even begin to tell you the change I've made in my property and the "clearing" done with tooth bar. As far as digging, I've been able to use teeth simultaneously with box scraper with much success. My L3800 puts a smile on my face every time I'm in the seat...what a freakin beast on everything I've asked it to do. Also gotta say my forks and bucket hooks have worked hand in hand with teeth.

Purchased the PTB about 3 weeks ago for my B3300su. Wow, what a difference it made! Before it was installed I had difficulty breaking into dry sod/ground- now it slides right in. So precise- feel like I can peel the skin off an apple with it. Installation was easy. Hardest part was finding a 3/4" drill bit. Seemed like every home center and hardware store were out of them. Also, the silver color of the bar matches the silver in the Kubota decals. Nice.
