Well boss I'm still kinda stumped. Maybe we need to check with Service Dept Vic and see what he may know. He's ususally pretty good about identifying grey market Kubota tractors.

Thanks Vic!

Best guess I had was it kinda looks like a B8200 American model, from the hood. But the shortness of the tractor was kinda throwing me off as to what it could really be.

I haven't seen a Kubota (I do admit an imcomplete knowledge of Kubota's, not trying to be a smart alleck) with a front axle set back that far- it looks like an orange Yanmar, to me. Given the front axle placement, and the frame, my novice eye would say Yanmar.

Well, I do love learning new things. I looked up some photos of B1600's, and they do look alike. The axle is set back, the tractor uses a frame, but the ones I saw had 6 lug front wheels.

Just curious but if this is a Zen Noh and it was originally intended for the Japanese market only then why did it have the "Sunshine Jr" in english on the dash top panel and grill emblem and some of the indicators lamps like oil and charge in english, The loader markings are in english but I am assuming that the loader could have been added after the machine was imported. Were these tractorized "Americanised or Canadianised or altered to appeal to the intended country of import" prior to import to make them more appealing to this market. I notice that all of the Grey market tractors I have seen have their model designation in english yet they leave much of the control labels in Japanese,One would think that since these machines were only intended for the Japanese market the model designations and serial numbers would be in Japanese.

Sure looks like a kubota hood ornament on the front of the hood between the headlights.
