Just checking to see if Mr K has made it easier to post photos. I have no issues with other forums posting photos. Just here.
Nope, it still stinks. Tried a photo. To Big was rejected. Cropped the photo. To big still rejected. If you can fix that or teach non tec people how to do it that would be great.

Well, I'm trying to figure it out. So far, I have been able to post one photo by dragging and dropping. I have had an issue with some photos not wanting to post that use to post in the old forum, so I'm still trying to figure it out.

Photo limit is currently 1MB, no dimension restrictions (site will auto-resize). Are you attempting to upload >1MB photos?

Can't help you if you are trying to do this using a phone. But it is simple if you are using a Windows computer. Open the photo with Paint (part of every Windows computer I've ever used). Click on the "Resize" button. In the window that opens up, click on "Pixels". Then make the largest number of the two that pop up 1000. The other number will update itself. Then do a Save As, and save it where ever you want it (and you need to choose because a lot of time Paint will file it where you'll never see it again). This will give you a photo size just under 1 MB which is fine for viewing on any computer screen.

Ok Thanks I'll try it.
It took me a while in paint to find the canvas tab that showed pixels. The larger number I put 1000. the other box adjusted the size smaller. Saved it.
Tried to upload. Still failed file is too large it says.

I also just tried a few photos from my iPad and they were too big. It is a PIA to email them to myself to post.

I have the program Paint3D , Botamon. But no where can I see a place to click resize, it has crop and canvas that will give you pizel sizes.

If you are uploading from the desktop you should be able to right-click on the file, select Properties (assuming you are on Windows) and see its file size. If it lists anything bigger than 1024KB or 1MB then it's too big.

For folks who don't know what that is , its called a VanHusen...a german style firewood stack. If your into getting a workout and putting on a hundred miles of walking then this is for you.

The way I understand it is the land in Europe or lot space is at a premium. So the germans stack the pile to take up less space. And their piles can be 14' or taller. Like big VanHusens. This one is 8' across and alot of 'running around' stacking. I was stacking wood yesterday. My girlfriend says to me I'll help you but were NOT going to stack it in that stupid circle again are we ? LOL.
So what makes it advantageous to build ?? I have no answer. Maybe this is why we won the war !

Possibly more stable but unless the hole is filled, not less space. Maybe if the hole was filled with vertical (end to end) stacked firewood. ??
