Man, thats a nice box you have there, and good job on getting it in place.
I tried to "catch up" on this thread. I will say that being a Trucker will be "physically" less demanding, which is nice as we/you age.
My BIL is 60 and he is still a mechanic at a local dealer, but the physical demands are beginning to be problematic.
One thing I found, when I stopped being a "professional mechanic" was that it was mentally, exceedingly difficult, to let/have other people work on my stuff.......I just couldn't do it. (Hence the reason I installed that hoist).
I wish you all the best in your new endeavor.
No doubt. That will definitely be the next step for me. Must have a way for ME to maintain my fleet of junk lol.

But we got her. A bit extravagant for a home setup i'll say.
This was my 4th toolbox of my career that I purchased late '14. If I never professionally spin the wrench again, majority of this stuff will never see the light of day. Can't bring myself to get rid of even an ounce of it though. No telling actually how much money is sitting here right now. I've basically been buying tools every week since I was 16. And this is the result of that. Tool storage wise I am glad to be out of it, the box is jammed packed and after cornwell shifted manufacturing I couldn't logically reason with myself in expanding the box with a pair of lockers....they're now $6300....PER SIDE. I paid $100 more than that for the box 11 years ago. I wont say what that same box will cost you right now minus the hutch if you ordered it. But its beyond ridiculous.
Alright brothers no more murkin up y'alls picture thread with car repair and tool bs... a guy was just trying to stay motivated and positive about daily crappy situations. And he did just that. Appreciate y'all lettin me get it all out over the year though. Y'all really are great dudes!

This is the shoot anything lately thread.
So. Yesterday it was 96* here at 4pm. I went out to the side deck to bring in the laundry off the clothes line. I looked down back in the field and saw a coyote limping walking slowly. Quietly i moved inside. Downstairs, grabbed a long range rifle, out the back door Quietly, moved beside a shed there, I saw him stop and lay down in the shade. Adjust scope. Aim bang, rolls him over, back upstairs I go, start bringing in the laundry again, I look, he's trying to get up. I run back downstairs out the back door, not Quietly this time. Rest my rifle against the shed, bang, roll him over again. My nephew calls from next door, I tell him to come over I shot a coyote. We jump in the ranger drive down, he's still breathing. My nephew carries a. 38, he jumps out, walks over, bang, five minutes later, he stopped moving. One tuff dog. I was a wash of sweat to say the least.

My buddy wanted both of mine last week with the massive unload. I let him get my PA ar10 (it hurt but needed the funds) and I kept my el cheapo dpms ar15.
That ar10 was the hardest hitting rifle I owned. It's a heck of a feeling squeezing off .308 rounds back to back like that. Awesome therapy LOL.

Been slow getting through some of my footage. These are from April.
A barred owl had started feeding in this area. Daytime hunting in the spring makes me suppose there are owlets to feed as well.

That’s great. I put up a barred owl box early last year and I have no evidence they have moved in…although hear them regularly. That’s pretty neat you got video!
