Hi All, Need some help. I have a 1982 B7100 with the Sno-Caster on the front. The hand lever that actuates the hydraulic lift valve fell off and is gone. I called my local dealer and the part is discontinued. P/N 70060-00098. I am going to try to fabricate a handle but could use a couple of pictures/dimensions to get me started. Can anyone assist? THANKS!

Can you post a picture of what remains of the valve minus the lever.
I have a friend with a B7100 HST of the same vintage who added a power beyond block and two hydraulic valves to operate 3 pt hitch snow blower.
If the photo you provide makes me think of something on my friends B7100 I will try and get info for you.
I dont think that there would be anything unique about your valve which I understand is only to raise the front mounted blower.

Here is a shot from the manual for a B222a snow blower that was sold for the front of the early B7100's. It is not the same part number but it may be the same style.

The image from Kubotasam looks like my friend's B7100 except his valve has two levers. The lever is restrained by a wire clip about an inch from the end and the end of the lever is attached to the valve cylinder.
If you need more I can measure and take a picture

Thanks Guys,
Both look different from what I have. I was able to find a part schematic but I needed more detail to fabricate a new one. Attached is what mine looks like:

I think you are making this too complicated.
For example you may not need the bend in the lever but can go with a straight piece of flat iron with a U made of two pieces of flat stock welded to the lever to be on either side of the valve spool.
Here are some pictures I took of my friend's valves.

Sorry some photos are a little blury/

KevinD That part number tracks to a B748B snow blower as I have on my tractor. Lever looks exactly like mine. I will take a picture and try to upload later tonight or tomorrow. Coleman's shows the lever available at ~$68. For that a reasonable substitute might work just fine. Jeff

Any idea on the following regarding the he oval shaped ring on the lower section of the lever:
What does it do?
Is it in a fixed position?
Spring loaded in anyway?

It is actually really a low tech piece of heavy wire.
It is clearer on the photos I submitted where the wire is above the valve spool.
What is does is to fix the end of the lever to allow the lever to pull or push on the valve spool.
If has to have movement in two directions as the lever swings back or forward because the spool can only move in one plane.

It needs to be stiff to work properly so making it out of a metal clothes hanger wont work. Instead I would look for a welding rod from a stick welder, perhaps a 7018 rod that has strong physical properties. Knock the flux off the outside of the rod.

Go to a local welding supply place and since you only need one rod they will likely just give it to you.

Use a drill bit to determine the maximum size that will fit into the hole where the wire loop is and then ask for a welding rod slightly smaller.

You could even use a larger diameter rod and grind down the ends to fit into the holes in the valve handle and valve body.

Put the wire into a vice to get the sharp bends.
