pats vs factory telescopic stabilizers

I have a L3901 and trying to decide on either Pats or the factory telescopic stabilizers L8430 They are both about same price of around 180.00 I use mower, box scraper, post hole digger and rototiller. the widths vary so a quick connect I don't think would work. Any suggestions really tired of turnbuckle.

Off point probably, but if it was me, I'd get the telescoping stabilizers even with PATS, but I prefer my telescoping stabilizer bars and extendible lower links over PATS. I have a set of PATS I bought for my L5030 and am selling them. They are great for some people, I just don't care for them.

Definitely get telescoping stabilizers and the Pat's. They work very well together.

I had a problem on my M7040 with the telescoping end balls on the lower lift arms. Not sure if that is what we are talking about. Maybe you are only discussing the lower lift arms having several holes for sliding in and out. The M7040 comes stock with those. (Yes, turnbuckles are a pain.)

Anyway, the Pat's interfered with the release lever for the sliding end balls. So I bought a Pat's insert...but it was fixed and was not designed to slide out. I sold it to a member on here.

Then I bought a Pat's weld-on. After cutting off the end balls, the Pat's were welded on in their place. So I have the best of both worlds, slide-out Pat's!

I'm not finding my Pat's as helpful as I'd hoped. They work as advertised, I suppose, but it seems to me that I still need to put in the same amount effort to connect/reconnect whether I use the Pats or not. Plus I don't like that the Pats are "fixed position". I prefer the swivel "eye-ball" link/connection that comes on the factory setup.

TripleR, are your extendable lower links a Kubota Part? If so, do you happen to have a part number?

Yes, they came stock on my L5740 just like the L5030. Sorry, I don't have the parts number, but if you contact Messicks, they will email you the assembly with the correct parts numbers, check for compatability and order from them, that's what I do.
