I was looking at getting a set of the Pat's Quick attach adapters. Has any one received a set lately? I saw a set at the local farm store but they were welded not cast like the pictures show. Also many of the online listings show both the cast and the welded for the same item. Do the still make the cast arms or are they all welded now? I don't want to order them thinking that I am getting the cast ones only to have a set of welded ones come in.

Thanks

I do believe they quit making them cast years ago, it was cheaper for them to make them out of cold rolled steel.
They really need to update their web site pictures! ;)

I just received my category 1 set today from RuralKing and they are cast. Haven't installed them yet but they look very nice.

Here's a partial description from a vendor (TBN)...

+ Cat 1 and 2 models are CAST models as shown in pictures. Conversion models (cat 1 -> 2 and 2-> 1 are hand welded)
Highest Quality Construction
Pat's Easy Change System is cast iron, and each individual unit undergoes a rigorous quality control check before leaving the factory. You can rest assured that Pat's Easy Change System is a high-quality item that won't fall apart---thousands of TractorByNet.com users currently have Pat's Easy Change System installed, and no quality issues have been reported to date.
But both images (cast and rolled) can be seen in many ads.
