I was set to buy these after this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Va4zBVLIps

Then I found these two

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv5L7aSmqt8

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Gtd2avh-S4

The second vid shows some issues with them, However this might be a case of expecting too much from a product..

I am pretty tight on not "Overworking" the machine, I actually follow the recommendations for sizes, if it says 60" I don't go buy a 72" because I know it "can" handle it..
I measured my implements and checked the top links. The Pat's will work for me with the least amount of issues, has anyone else run into problems with them ???

Many Thanks

I bought a set of those for my L2600 and, while I like the idea of an easier way to connect my implements, I had a big problem with the length of the toplink.

I have a hydraulic top link and even with it extended all the way, I could never get the disk harrow to sit flat/level.

I'd be happy to sell them to someone who could use them; No SuperSaver free shipping though.

Send me a PM if you're interested

I installed them on my Bx and am real happy with it. My rear implements are different widths, so I figured this was the best solution.

I looked at that type, but they were just too light and too many variables to go wrong and the price is $50+ higher then the full quick hitch.

I also like the idea of backing under an implement lift and go, not, half way get it hooked up and have to get off and set up the other half adjust then go.
If you set up all your implements to the same standard you shouldn't have any problem with a full quick hitch.

bandaidmd also made a mod to his QH to make up for different widths, he did a great job too!

One thing I didn't see in the videos was the use of bushings, they really help affix the implement to the tractor!

If you go to their website they actually address the bushings which of course you can use, but they also make re-sized hooks.

I really like the idea of the stabilizer bar they offer, and they have washered pins that look interesting but I think I can make much easier then ordering :)

Right now the only issue I am seeing is the extra length that I might have an problem with on the Snow Blower PTO hook up.. It and the Box blade are what I really want these for they are a bit of a chore to get hooked up. The snow blower is of course the worst too since it is cold and wet when you mess with that..
I need to hook up the Blower and measure the shaft and the overlap on the shaft to see if these will work out as is, or if I am going to have to get a new shaft.. This would be an issue with any of the QA systems though...

Yep trying to hook up a heavy snow blower is the main reason I decided to get a Quick hitch, nothing like slip sliding around trying to line up an implement.;)

Well thanks to Dan, the QA's got here last night and I got them installed today..
Quick and easy, but I had watched the vids so I knew what to expect..
I tried out the Backblade and that was even easier to hook up, the I tried the Boxblade which was always difficult because it actually is set up for a QH... That was way easier then before, finally I brought out the Snow blower and I guess I lucked out.. I have enough Top link adjustment for both blades, and the Blower PTO has a minimum of 3.5 inches of depth, so it looks like I got lucky with most of it.. The only things that didn't work perfect were the special washers for the Lynch Pins on the Blower they miss by just a touch, so I have some filing to do on some grinding with a Dremel to get them to fit right..

All in all I am pretty happy with the setup, I had the bottom piece of a broken Game Gambrel laying around, and it for the holes for the stabilizer bar that I don't have.. It is 26" so just a smidge too short, I might make my own or break down and order the one from Pat's..

I used the BoxBlade today on the road for a few passes to take out potholes, it worked like a champ :D
I guess I will see how well the QA's hold up to a North Idaho Winter pretty soon :)
