I don't know much about planes, but those shooters look very nice to be built by hobby hands :D
Care to share pics of your barrel making? did you make a barrel riffler, or buy one? Love to see more of them

here are some pics of my home made rifleing attachment for my lathe,
the crank is bycycle pedal. i started by makeing a hook cutter, real finniky to get just right. i now use the scraper cutter much better and not so finniky.
i use old salvage carbide from skill saw blades. to twist the 1/2 square
stock, put one end in the vise, slide a peice of pipe over the square stock,
and with a big cressent wrench, twist to whatever u want. i got a set of 2 books, the modern gunsmith, by james howe. google something like
old time rifleing machine. the were made of wood. any body interested
in how to make a wood stove out of wood???

heres 2 more pics then i,ll be quiet for a while at least. 1st pic is my snake
eyes camp gun/ally sweeper. crappy tire had a laser level sale 4-6 years ago for $3.79 or something like that. i bought 2 doz of them. i cut them up as needed for the lasers. here i put 2 of them and it works real good in low light.
battery life u ask, 2 AA batteries lasted 40 hrs and steady on and it was still
shinning brighr. that was good enough for me. the next pic is another
cannary song inspired project. cheap cheap cheap. my son who worked for
highways was hauling a truck load of guard rails to the dump. well they got dumped on my 10 acres. the aluminum is recycled too. 1 large bottle of
oxygen and 2 large boxes of welding rods. the footings are 4 oil pails nestled
with the bottom cut out.

in this pic the carport is not leaning. i must of had the cammera tilted.
the bucycle is another one of my creations made from EMT. (electrical metal
tubeing).

The plane looks like a cross between a Cub and a Champ.

I fly a 182 RG, but don't really need the speed and payload much anymore, so am considering moving back to something a little more basic.

Love the guns. Really nice work. I'd like to see your shop sometime. You do nice work.
