Hi, just registered,
I'm Danny, but call me 'frustrated in Illinois' for now
Been browsing the entire internet, cannot find a good source of NOS parts for the Kubota B6000E. Am I blind?
I find starters, alternators, radiators & hoses, clutches, glowplugs, belts, filters. That's about it.
I understand attachments or reversing box can be high when found.
I'm more concerned with parts for the tractor itself, hard parts, engine, axle, trans--even maintenance items, brake parts, tires, water pump/thermostat, etc.
I have found a B6000E with finish mower and blade, ok price (I think, its around one thousand), but parts availability is preventing me from buying it.
I don't mind ordering and waiting on parts, salvage yard parts, but some things are just better replaced with new parts. Bearings/seals/etc can usually be matched up, but some parts need to be factory...
If too hard to find, can anyone suggest another model they would prefer, with parts available, that is close to the B6000. I like the diesel, 2x or 4x drive ok.
Any one have any ideas?
Hope I don't sound too bad, I really like this tractor.
I do own a couple of the other orange, WD's,
But this little Kubota Diesel is awesome.
Love to find a tiller and FEL for it as well, if I get it.
Trailer's hooked up, money in my pocket, but stopped in my tracks.
Thank you ahead of time,
"The frustrated newbie in Illinois, Danny"

I would not buy a 2W 6000..........2cyl and 2w and rev PTO.

If you have not bought it, look for a 7100 or 6200 or other similar model, look for a DT.

That said, all parts are available, you just have to hunt them down.

The B6000E is a gray market Kubota so getting parts for it is going to be tough to say the least.
I too suggest that you look at a 6100, 7100, 6200, or 7200.
Parts and Implements for those models are a lot easier to get!

Sounds like a no go, then.
I really appreciate it.
I will keep my eyes on the market for those other models.
I noticed in my searches that parts were easier to get for those,
skip right over the 6000 on most lists.
You all probably saved me a lot of headaches.
Thanks again,
Danny

I believe the B6100 is the North American model of the B6000 so in theory any parts on a B6100 should fit just fine on a B6000. Maybe drop a line to Service Dept Vic, our moderator and he can tell you for sure.

Some parts might interchange but different engines, hoods, fenders, dashes, and opposite PTO directions....
