curious...
My EA forks ARE FLUSH with the face of the headrack

could you please post a picture of this ? I looked at EA 42" pallet forks and didn't see what you mean. Dang hard to see black things againat other black things .
though as I'm typing this..do you mean that a tall load will rest against BOTH forks and rack flush ?
I could post a picture of my EA forks.......maybe in June.
Forks are enjoying the Winter wonderland (stored inside) of New England....I am in Florida.

Yes: "a tall load will rest against BOTH forks, and rack flush".
Cheaper forks are not built that way!

re: I use the 36" version as I don't want to put holes in my garage wall

Please do NOT look at my old shop wall...please.. !!!!:D

BTW painted stuff is a LOT easier to make new again than the 'less than stellar quality' powder coat 99.44% of stuff has today. I'd actually pay MORE for a painted version. Rhino liners aren't much better than PC 'paint' either.
I totally agree!
Give me painted equipment anytime!
Cheap/crappy powder coating is most often just a manufacturer marketing issue, and it chips off readily!

As much as I like EA products, I bought a set of Land Pride/Kubota PFL4648 pallet forks a couple of years ago from the local dealer for $1,035. Unlike many here, I don't consider pallet forks to be the most useful implement. They're invaluable when you need them, but I don't need them that often.

@GreensvilleJay, you can see in the photos below that the front face of the forks are in the same plane as the front faces of the "headache" rack.

The Titan pallet forks mentioned in the beginning of this thread are just another example of how Chinese companies get it wrong on so many occasions.

I own the set on the right. Mine are black, but I did get them from Titan. I like them, and have had no issues. They are made in the US, and the welds look good. I have bought other other (non-US made) stuff from Titan and the quality is hit-or-miss (more miss, but the customer service made it right).

I would go with those.
