Brand new member, just purchased BX2680 with the BX2410 SSQA coupler. I am looking at purchasing the Land Pride PFL 1242 pallet fork. Now my Kubota dealer states it will not fit and a salesmen from elsewhere says it will fit. Confused. Does anyone out there use the PFL 1242 from Land Pride on a Kubota BX2680 with bx2410 quick release? Thanks for your help

Go to the land pride web site. They have filters by model category. "Kubota matched" they call it.

Kubota is telling me that the BX2410 quick attach is not a universal quick attach, why I don't knowFrom what I can tell it should. Contact them!

This would seem to imply that any SSQA would work but theirs has the benefit of being lighter (167 lbs) to allow for more of the lifting capacity to be used for what you are trying to lift.

I just picked one up a 1242 today as well! When I got it home I thought something was wrong with it because the forks themselves seemed flimsy - but then I realized they move and once you get some weight on them they are heavy duty!

The other important factor for tractor pallet fork fit is assessing the adequacy of your tractor rear end ballast. Your safety and the function of your forks depend on it.

I ended up caving and buying the PFL1242 from the dealer, last set they had and they weren't sure when more might come in so I snagged them.
What are the holes on the upper part of the frame for? I see the manual says not to hook chains or anything to the frame... Can you bolt on hooks through those holes so chains can be used to secure loads? How does one approach that.

I'm not completely sure what the holes are for.. other than using them to secure loads. If needed to secure loads I'll use them, I'm sure they just don't want people using them as lifting points.
More money for the LP but I'm sure you ended up with a much better product! Plus the thickness of the forks is going to considerably more user friendly.

Yup, I feel like I did about 6 surveys and 15 emails with Titan, where I shared my honest feedback... By no means is one person's experience indicative of a company but it felt like as soon as I replied "well no, I'm not super happy at all ..." It just triggered more survey emails and random customer service reps.
The holes in the Land Pride unit are too small to pass or hook a chain... They look like bolt holes. It's odd to me they are present yet the reason for them being there isn't easily found.
