I acquired a gravity fed diesel barrel on a stand and I'm going to sandblast it and paint it. Any recommendations on brand/type of paint. I will be spraying a primer first, then color coat. Someone recommended propane tank paint but I am unsure which would be best. Thanks!

And for safety ( if you did not think of it already)

I would put a ground wire on the barrel, sandblast gun/hopper and maybe compressor to
prevent static buildup.

No reason you can't make it pretty. Go to the nearest N40 or tractor supply and get a quart of K Orange, than get a matching decal of your favorite toy on there. I just picked up a quart, it was $10. I'm going to do an accent stripe around my shop wall, between the grey lower and white upper walls

My bud that raises sheep has one like that behind the barn. And all he ever did wass use the silver paint they put on trailer roofs,, it seems to weather well and that tank has been out side for,, for,,, well a really long time
