When I was first looking, I had no plan to finance, but I had recently moved onto land with a long road that needed maintaining, and the maintenance it needed suddenly became a lot more urgent. It just made more sense to finance than to blow $5000 on repairs that I would STILL have to maintain. I bought it a year earlier than planned, and paid it off a year earlier than the payoff, and it's been a good helper around the property in ways I never anticipated (which is exactly what I expected)
Slightly different topic: curious as to input on insurance? I had the insurance automatically with the financing, now they're sending me letters to continue the policy. Is the KTAC insurance worth the money?
