Lil Foot that is awesome, such a great idea and I guess an obvious choice really (although not something I thought of). They look great and if I even get one of these things it'll be something i'll probably do. Nice work, so much better than using a bin full of concrete!

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out. I get lots of compliments, and requests to make more for others. I hunted everywhere I could think of for "real" tractor weights, called tractor salvage yards, dealers, and basically got laughed at. My local dealer told me that even if I found any, I probably wouldn't want to pay the price. (they are pricey because they are rare..... nobody wants to let go of theirs once they get 'em)
So, being a retired Toolmaker/Research tech, the decision to make my own was obvious, especially once a friend gave me the weights for the front. I almost bought 100lb weights for the rears, but they were twice the money per pound & heavier than I wanted to wrestle in place by myself.
