My M108s is going into a limited RPM mode (1500). Other than the indicator Red light. The temp needle and all else seems normal. This is an older machine 2010. Fluids are good and was just serviced.

Sticking my neck out here because I've got no experience at all with modern tractors, but since no-one else has replied yet...

Brevity is great :) but it would probably help if you give more info. You say "was just serviced". So was the problem there before it was serviced? Or did it start immediately after? What was the service... did you get a good description of what was done or did you service it yourself? Did anything else change around the time or before the problem became apparent?

And... welcome to the forum :)

It did not start it right after the service. (I did oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter, grease and topped fluids.) I bush hogged for 3 or so hours and it came on (high temp ind). I checked the fluid level, fan and belt, while making sure the radiator was not clogged. And again after an hour or so yesterday the light came on. Repeat after lunch. Then got on after a break and the thing ran without high temp ind. for a couple more hours. Headed out to run it again.

thanks for the help

Seems like you have been doing the right thing, assuming that you are using the recommended fluids and filters. In the absence of any other info I would tend to think the servicing had something to do with it. What is the red light being triggered by... coolant temperature, or oil temp, or oil pressure? If it is oil related then have an extra close look at everything you did in the service relating to oil. Using genuine product helps avoid uncertainty, did you use aftermarket oil/filters etc, and if so how do you know they meet Kubota specs for your tractor.

Hopefully your extra info will provide context for other members to chip in. Sorry not to be more help.

I ran it for 5 hours or so over the last few days and everything is fine. I don’t have a clue what would set it off. I flushed all of the coils out with simple green and water just to clean them out good. We’ll see….
