Vic... due to the volitility of the hooch and thye heat of a diesel's compression... I venture the compression with cause a preignition that put a rod through the case. This stuff burns with beautiful and HOT flame only able to be seen in the dark.

I'd say it would be kind'a like using either....

Hey Scott.... not speaking as a Chemist.... just someone that has in the past put a rod through the case

It only takes onr time to learn a lesson like that... I was 14 at the time and could not get the power unit on the drilling rig started. Ether was not a good option.... to say the least.

My hooch and ether has close flash points.....
