Opinion on Price—Old Deere 35 Mini Grader

A local-ish guy is looking for $350 for the below mini grader. I can make good use of it, though he’s an 80 mile round trip from me. New ones on Amazon are $385 delivered, though I like to think more flimsy than the JD, albeit with some miles on it. Anyhow, thoughts on whether $350 is too high, or about right?

It's just a 3pt rear blade,nothing special, they go for 100-150 up here,IF they sell at all. 80 mile trip is couple hours out of your life,some gas outta your truck.
While a new one might be thinner tin, odds are real good it'll outlive you.
Now if you had 'green ' blood, you wouldn't be asking...

Ron, in my opinion it's a tad high. But since it's 40 miles away call the guy and tell him your interested in his blade and where you're located. You can always ask him a few questions, but then ask him, "If I come over there, what's a good time for you? What would be your bottom dollar? I'm trying to determine if I should go that far."

By then you pretty much know all negotiations are done and you're going to purchase it, or not. Then the trip is not a joy ride!

There is no real benefit to a new blade if the holes are not all wore out. Just make the owner feel better.

Not sure that it matters to you, but this one isn't quick hitch compatible. That would be important to me.
