Being it's almost certainly Chinese, I'm a bit skeptical of that 12,000 pound rating.

Knock off a zero and you are probably about right.

Buy Local is important to the Mrs. and I.

Can't say I don't buy chinese from Amazon, but try to do what we can when we can.

Yours are listed as weld-on, but certainly appear to be similar.

They added an extra 0 to the count. Just like the extra 0 on the tensile strength. 😂

It is 10 boxes of 10 pieces. I bought a bunch of Milton airline couplers like that a year or so ago. I have no idea what is going on when Amazon does this, it sure is strange, but not unusual.

I don't buy from Amazon but my neighbors do. We live on a private road with 13 other properties, but I'm the first house. Amazon leaves other peoples merchandise at my driveway because I'm the first house they come to with the correct street address
Happens quite often

Those square holes are for the 'positioning tack welds'. When happy weld the outside edges.

Yeah, but zeros can be "erased"
.......and the Pacific fleet eventually did just that.
yes and today is 9/2/24. On this day in 1944, George H.W. Bush was shot down near the Bonin Island of Chichi Jima. A lot of folks didn't know he was in the Navy, nor did they know he was a pilot and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.

If you guys and gals is ever in the area, make sure to stop by NAS Pensacola. Soon as you walk into the front door of the Naval Aviation Museum, you'll find just over your head, the plane that he flew-which is properly decorated with the number "41" on it's yellow skin. If you all go, make sure to take a guided tour. The guides are all Navy personnel, the one we had last year was a personal friend of George H.W. Bush, they flew together quite often. Great stories are told! Oh and admission is FREE.

I entered the US Naval School of Preflight in Pensacola, in 1962.
Received my commission as a Naval officer, and Naval aviator wings, in New Iberia LA, in April of'64.
The Pensacola museum is a great place to visit!
